How ANCP Works

Step 1: Contact Washington Gas at 703-750-1000 to get your ANCP package.

Step 2: Enroll your property by completing a Automatic Name Change Program contract.

Step 3: Complete a move out form and submit it to Washington Gas at least 72 hours before a tenant departs. Gas service will be transferred automatically into your name.

Step 4: Complete a move in form and submit it to Washington Gas at least 72 hours before a new tenant will be occupying the unit. Gas service will be transferred automatically into the new tenant's name.
